  • Yes! We make a habit of adapting to whatever needs or specifications your project may require. If it isn’t something we have done in the past, we are willing to invest in or create a way to make it happen.

  • We take pride in keeping lead times short and aim to keep lead times in the “weeks” category rather than “months”.

    To stay up to date on the most current lead times, sign up for our mailing list!

  • Yes! IPC is your prototyping partner. With a design file in hand, we will rush production on first articles/prototypes of your part. We aim to complete these in about two weeks. From here, you can inspect, test, and update as needed while we prepare for full production.

  • Yes! Wherever you are located, we are happy to ship castings to you.

  • Before shipping or even commencing a full production cycle, we’ll rush produce ~20 first articles of your casting to ensure your castings are a perfect fit. During production, we continually monitor for quality. When you place an order with us, expect nothing other than 100% satisfaction guaranteed!

  • For investment castings, the industry standard is +/- 10 thousandths inch per inch. We comfortably will meet that standard. To learn more about tolerances and specifications, download our tolerance table here

  • It depends! Investment casting is primarily for situations where you need to affordably and accurately replicate hundreds/thousands of parts. Your specific part may be the perfect fit for an investment casting, or it may make more sense to get parts machined, sand cast, or use a different method. To discuss your specific part(s) and its nuances, contact our team today!

  • The methodology is quite similar, but investment casting allows for much tighter tolerances and large-scale repeatability. Sand casting is much less expensive but requires a lot of finishing, which can significantly drive up costs when done in bulk.
