STEP 3

Patterns are Clustered Together

Next, the parts are wax-welded in clusters on a tree and inspected.

STEP 4

Ceramic Shell

Waxes are then coated with a ceramic slurry to form a hard shell for casting.
This is a critical step that takes more time than any other step in the casting process.


STEP 5

Pouring the Metal

After removing the wax mold from the ceramic shell, it is filled with molten metal.

Separating the Clustered Castings

The ceramic shell is removed and the parts are cut from the tree for finishing.

Finishing

Now the parts are carefully cleaned to meet specifications.

Special Treatment
